A man walks away from the Cathedral of the Holy Saviour in Luanda. The women walk towards the Catholic Cathedral carrying their goods on their heads. I love this Cathedral. It is an old building which was built in 1628, and it is still surviving amidst the modern skyscrapers. Buildings like this connect Luanda of today with Luanda of the past and give character to the city. The Cathedral is also known locally as Nuestra Señora de los Remedios (Our Lady of Remedies).
